Child Advocates of San Bernardino County (C.A.S.A.) appreciates the opportunity to be considered for Cy-Pres Awards. C.A.S.A. of San Bernardino County has been qualified for residual awards in class action cases pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedures Section 384(b).

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for youth in foster care, juvenile care, and and foster care alumni with stable and consistent mentoring, advocacy, and supportive services. C.A.S.A. recruits, screens, trains, and provides professional support and supervision to community volunteers who serve as Court appointed Special Advocates (CASA’s) for children and youth in foster care.

CASAs often provide advocacy, mentoring, and support to children and youth consistent with the objectives of many class action suits including; education, employment, housing, financial stability, mentoring, and medical and mental health services.
